CPR Classes
Bystander CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival in an emergency. That’s why we’re proud to offer both certifying and non-certifying CPR training options. If you have any questions, please email us at cpr@rescue1.org
CPR Certification
We provide CPR certification through the American Heart Association's hybrid online/in-person courses. First, students complete the online portion through the AHA's website. Next, students meet with our instructors to practice with manikins, AEDs, and other training equipment as well as complete their certification test. The cost for the BLS and Heartsaver practical session is $55, and the Heartsaver and First Aid practical session is $70.
COVID19 Update: To ensure the safety of our instructors and students, we're currently holding practical times in individual hour-long sessions. Please contact us using the form below for the schedule.
BLS For Healthcare Providers
This is the required certification for healthcare providers including students entering healthcare programs. The online portion is taken here: HeartCode BLS
Heartsaver CPR AED
This certification is often required for non-healthcare professionals that need to be CPR certified such as teachers, civil servants, and athletic trainers. The Heartsaver certification is also ideal for laypersons that want to be certified. The online portion is taken here: Heartsaver CPR AED Onlin
Non-Certifying Community CPR Classes
CPR saves lives.
In order to foster awareness and CPR training in our community, we offer free CPR training for parents, caretakers, and anyone interested in learning.
These classes are taught to the same high standards as our certification classes. The only difference is that students do not receive a certification card and don't have to pay the certification fee.
